Looking at the supported builds, it seems the Semi-Annual build 12527.20880 is the appropriate version I can get away with. Looking online, it seems the latest version which will run on Windows 7 is version 2002. So, I'm led to believe I can install a previous version of Office 365 via the Office Deployment Tool. when trying to download Office 365 I'm informed it will not install on this operating system and I need to upgrade to Windows 10. I don't want to be lectured why it's not on Windows 10. I have a computer running Windows 7 with Extended Security update.
